This release introduces the ability to import both Contacts and Opportunities simultaneously using a CSV file. It streamlines data management by allowing users to create, update, and manage contacts and opportunities in bulk.
What's New?
Dual Object Import: Users can now import both Contacts and Opportunities in a single CSV file, reducing the need for separate uploads.
Auto-Mapping: Contacts and Opportunities in the same row of the CSV file are automatically mapped to each other.
Support for Multiple Contact Information: Ability to import multiple email addresses and phone numbers for a single contact during the same import process.
Unified Import Monitoring: Track the status of your imports for both Contacts and Opportunities in the Bulk Actions page, where you can view the details and monitor progress.
Single Deduplication Logic: One single setting for deduplicating based on email and phone for Contacts without the risk of overriding it (edited)
How to Use:
Step 1: Navigate to the Opportunities section and click on the three dots to access the Import option.
Step 2: Select both Contacts and Opportunities as the objects for import.
Step 3: Upload your CSV file containing contact and opportunity data.
Step 4: Map fields to the appropriate objects (Contacts or Opportunities), ensuring proper mapping.
Step 5: Review the mapping, then initiate the import process.
Step 6: Monitor the import status in the Contacts and Opportunities Bulk Actions Pages.
What's Next?:
Expanded CSV Import Functionality: We are working on allowing imports for additional objects and fields, providing even more flexibility.
Automated Data Validation: Coming soon, this feature will include pre-import validation to detect errors before the process begins.
